FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to an aqueous suspension of diacylperoxide and using it in producing high-molecular polymers. The described aqueous suspension applicable for producing high-molecular polymers containing: 35-45 wt % of solid particles of diacylperoxide having a particle size d50 falling within the range of 1-10 micron, 0.05-0.8 wt % of a dispersing agent and no more than 1 wt % of an organic solvent; wherein solid diacylperoxide represents substituted or unsubstituted dibenzoylperoxide. What is also described is using the above aqueous suspension in producing high-molecular polymers. What is described is a method for preparing the high-molecular polymers involving adding the above aqueous suspension into the reactor.
EFFECT: producing the aqueous suspension of diacylperoxide low in volatile organic substance, having low viscosity and stable for several months.
