FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: application: for reinforcing the reinforced concrete constructions. Reinforcement rod of periodic profile consists of core of circular cross-section with the inclined transverse fins of constant height on the surface. Geometrical dimensions of the transverse ribs as the ratio $$\frac{t-b}{h}$$ are established on the basis of physical and mechanical properties and form of concrete deterioration between them according to the formula $$\frac{t-b}{h}=\frac{R_b}{R_{cut}}+4=\frac{R_b}{0,7\cdot \sqrt{R_b\cdot R_{bt}}}+4,$$ where t - step of transverse ribs; b - width of the upper part of the rib; h - height of the rib; R_h - prism strength of concrete; R_cut - fracture strength of concrete at the cut; R_bt - axial tension strength of concrete. To increase the bonding strength, the longitudinal ribs are inclined to the longitudinal axis of the core.

EFFECT: increase of the bonding strength.
