FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: reinforcement bar of periodic profile consists of a core of round section, lengthwise ribs and located between them at an angle to the core axis in pairs in opposite direction open transverse ribs in turn connected with the longitudinal ones only on one side, the angle of the core enveloping the rib is not less than 120 degrees, and the radius of the transverse rib contour is determined by formula where: R - radius of the transverse rib external contour arc, mm; Rc - reinforcement bar core radius, mm; bg - width of the lengthwise rib, mm; k - coefficient obtained experimentally, k=0.85÷1.10. Bar may have additional lengthwise ribs arranged in a mutually perpendicular plane to the lengthwise ribs and with a height equal to no more than 1.05 of the height of the transverse ribs at their mutual intersection point. Herewith adjacent transverse open ribs are arranged both in parallel and at an angle to each other.
EFFECT: creation of a reinforcement bar of periodic profile with improved properties by stiffness, strength and higher degree of engagement with concrete in reinforced concrete structures.
