SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to chemical industry and can be applied in production of pigments for dyes and inks, as well as fillers of caoutchouc and plastics. Initial material, with boiling temperature 160-600°C, is supplied in heater for heating to temperature, exceeding 300°C. Rate of initial material passing through heater is 1 m/s or higher, and period of its staying in heater is less than 120 minutes. Then heated initial material is introduced into reactor for synthesis of furnace type carbon black. Period of initial material stay from output from heater to point of input into reactor is less than 120 minutes, due to which formation of steam film in heater is controlled. Heated initial material is combined with heated gas stream to obtain reaction flow, in which formation of carbon black Takes place. Obtained furnace carbon black is extracted from reaction flow.
EFFECT: prevention of pollution of technological lines and equipment.
