FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of refining vegetable oil with reagents and can be used to refine vegetable oil at oil and fat enterprises. A method of producing refined non-deodorised sunflower oil, which includes a step of sorption refining with settling and separation of the residue, control steps of bleaching and freezing out the oil, as well as filtration of the oil. At the sorption refining step, the unrefined oil is treated with aqueous sodium silicate nonahydrate solution with concentration of 50-60 wt % at oil temperature of 20-50°C.
EFFECT: invention reduces power consumption by reducing the duration of cycles of filling the apparatus with oil, mixing thereof and settling at the sorption refining step and power consumption when cooling the oil, and also avoids the use of expensive citric acid.
