FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipe rolling. This process comprises machining for rough roll surfacing at roll-turning machines by program or template with 5-10° overlap towards idle section from roll zero point of from lengthwise run-out angle. Wear- and heat-resistant ply of "СВ30Х30Н16Г7" steel is deposited on working ply over flux with allowance for machining. Roll working surface is machined after surfacing surface finish Rz≥80 mcm. Finishing is performed to Rz≤20 mcm at section flow flat die of 0.15 to 0.20 of its length adjoining the finishing section and lengthwise run-out angle.
EFFECT: higher roll hardness, accelerated rolling, better surface quality.
