FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: under this method the zirconium nitride from the substrate out of titanium or titanium alloy is removed by chemical etching in heated water solution containing the following components, wt %: ammonium fluoride 0.3-1.5, ethylendiaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt 3-10, hydrogen peroxide 3-15, distilled water - rest.
EFFECT: reduced energy consumption during removal of the zirconium nitride coating from the substrate out of titanium or titanium alloy.
