FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: posterior neurovascular beam with muscular branches and a common 2-5th toe flexor are separated. Its tendon is preserved with preserving the vessels. A canal is formed under a deep fascia along an inner surface of the shin, and the separated muscle is delivered through it. The muscle is placed within the shin soft tissue defect, and a split machine meshed graft is grafted thereon.
EFFECT: method provides the optimum conditions for graft retention by grafting the supplied muscle into the shin soft tissue defect avoiding compressing it with a tendon of the other muscle below the grafted muscle.
