FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: mouth floor and tongue is repaired by means of a musculocutaneous flap comprising a skin bed of an anterior surface of neck and sternohyoids supplied by thyroid arterial branches and innervated by a descending branch of hyoid nerve. The formed flap is transferred into the mouth cavity with the skin bed directed in the position to the mucous membrane of the mouth floor and tongue. A muscular fragment of the flap is used to repair soft tissues of the mouth floor, tongue and submandibular region.
EFFECT: method enables recovering the motion functions of the tongue.
