FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: correction is provided by a steel wire being freely set along alveolar ridge and fitted by a row of ansiform bends. One wire end is embedded in plastic base, the other end is hooked on the link of an elastic chain rigidly fixed on the trouble tooth button. In the course of treatment the hook is moved along the chain links and the tension is increased. The tension direction is regulated by moving the button on the tooth surface.
EFFECT: due to no permanent attachments used, the method allows for the reduction of risk of injury, improvement of comfort of use, decrease of treatment time, provision for the correction of a tooth position in the period of mixed dentition.
