SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to infectology, and can be applied for predicting the condition of the venous outflow from brain vessels in flu patients. The essence of the method: a value of ristomycin-aggregation of platelets in blood serum is determined in the flu patients in seconds. The obtained data are plugged into formula: PI=2.42-A·0.1, where PI is the prediction index of a risk of the emergence of venous waves in the brain vessels; 2.42 is a constant of mathematical calculation for predicting the condition of the emergence of the venous waves in the brain vessels; A is a value of ristomycin-aggregation of platelets in blood serum in seconds. When the PI value is 0, the absence of the venous waves is predicted; if the PI value is from 0 to 1 inclusively, the emergence of slightly expressed venous waves is predicted; if the PI value is higher than 1 - the emergence of expressed venous waves.

EFFECT: PI value can be used to predict the condition of the venous outflow from the brain vessels in the flu patients or patients who have recovered, which makes it possible for the medical specialist to carry out a complex of procedures aimed at the timely detection of disorders of the venous outflow from the brain vessels and perform their correction reasonably.
