SUBSTANCE: double-swivel cut-off quartz-crystal resonator with two exciting electrodes perpendicular to the oscillation field of the operating mode C comprises electrodes at each side of a plate, having the shape of a segment of a circle with incisions, wherein the centre of the circle is located at the geometric centre of the plate, the centre of the incisions is located in the area of maximum surface current density of mode B oscillations, a chord which bounds the segment is located at an angle of 50-70 degrees relative to the crystallographic axis X, such that the area of the resultant segment is 60-70% of the area of the circle, and the configurations of electrodes at two sides of the piezoelectric element of the resonator are centrally symmetric relative to the centre of the resonator.
EFFECT: improved stability and reduced oscillation noise level.
