FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: machine comprises bed, spindle head composed of aligned drive motor and tool spindle for cutter clamping. Table to support workpiece and spindle head drive mechanism is arranged at said bed. Said spindle head drive is composed of vertical guides with slides and hinged-lever links articulated with said spindle head body and slides. To simplify the design and maintain high dynamic performances said bed features T-like shape with crosswise and lengthwise parts arranged in horizontal plane. Said vertical guide are composed of two T-like props secured opposed at the bed crosswise part. Said spindle head is arranged between props while its displacement plane is located in that of props. Note here that spindle assy is hollow and runs in thrust bearing with thrust bearing pre-tensioner and with pre-sealing.

EFFECT: simplified design, high dynamic performances.
