FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to power cable intended for transmission and distribution of electric energy, especially electric energy of medium or high voltage. The cable comprises at least one electrical conductor and at least one electric insulating layer surrounding the above electrical conductor, at that at least one electric insulating layer contains: (a) thermoplastic polymer material selected out of at least one propylene copolymer (i) with at least one olefinic comonomer selected out of ethylene and α-olefin except for propylene, at that meting temperature of the above copolymer is 130°C and more and enthalpy of melting is 20-90 J/kg; (b) at least one nano-sized inorganic filler. At that at least one of copolymers (i) represents heterophase copolymer and at least in one insulating layer there is no compatibiliser in essence.
EFFECT: cable possesses advanced electrical performance at maintenance and even improvement of mechanical strength in spite of unavailable compatibiliser for nano-filler.
