FIELD: printing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an image forming device based on the technology of electrostatic printing, more particularly - to the processing cartridge used in such a device. The claimed processing cartridge comprises a housing of the technical cartridge, a photosensitive element mounted in the housing of the processing cartridge, a part with the opening, receiving the driving force connected to the photosensitive element and transmitting the driving force to the photosensitive element, and retractable mechanism which enables the part with the opening, receiving the driving force, to extend or retract in the axial direction of the photosensitive element, and the processing cartridge also comprises the control mechanism designed for controlling the extension and retraction of the retractable mechanism, and the control mechanism comprises the first resilient element and the push rod which is located on one side of the housing of the processing cartridge, on that, on which the part with the opening, receiving the driving force, is located, the push rod is connected to the retractable mechanism, and one end of the first resilient element is connected to the push rod, and the other end of the first resilient element is connected to the housing of the processing cartridge.
EFFECT: elimination of a technical problem, which consists in the fact that when the part with the opening, receiving the driving force, in the traditional processing cartridge and the drive mechanism for an image forming device may be subjected to damage caused by friction, when they meet the bevelled edge at the initial stage of entering into engagement and disengagement, and the engagement between the part and the opening receiving the driving force deteriorates in the traditional processing cartridge and the drive mechanism in the image forming device.
