FIELD: imaging devices.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to imaging devices. The process cartridge includes the first block having an image-bearing drum, and the second block having a developing roller and a gearing part. The second block has the ability to move between the contact position, in which the roller comes into contact with the drum, and the spaced position. The gearing part is connected to the force-sensing section provided on the second block. The gearing part is movable between the first position to hold the second block in the spaced position, the second position to allow the second block to move from the spaced position to the contact position and the third retraction position, which makes it possible to install the process cartridge.
EFFECT: reduction in the size of the process cartridge mechanism.
