First axial side of the plate body extends across the longitudinal direction from the opposite side of the plate body, which comprises the first cutting edge located along the edge section at the intersection between the first front surface and the first axial side. First axial side comprises first rear surface and second rear surface. First and second rear surfaces form blunt angles with imaginary central plane of plate body. Drilling tool contains indexed cutting plates of the specified design installed in sockets.
EFFECT: efficient removal of chips.
