FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agricultural machinery industry and can be used in reaping devices of harvesters. The device of the double cut of stems of grain crops comprises a frame on which a reel, a cutting unit, an intake auger and a transporting device is mounted. The cutting device is made in the form of an endless traction element with knives attached to it. The traction element is a lower and an upper working branches of the cutting device. The drive of the knives of the cutting device is provided by two pulleys. Each pulley has its own drive of rotation. Axes of rotation of the pulleys of the cutting device are arranged horizontally and coincide with the direction of the combine motion.
EFFECT: device of the double cut of stems of grain crops provides a uniform load on the cutting unit and the cut of ear and stem parts of grain crops.
