FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building, in particular, to harvester harvesting machines. Device includes a frame with a reel, a receiving auger, a conveying device, a cutting apparatus of an uncontrolled type, made in form of an endless traction element with attached to it cutting elements and forming upper and lower working branches of the cutting device, drive of cutting machine knives with two pulleys and their own drives of their rotation. One of the cutting device knives drive pulleys is movable. Traction element is additionally equipped with a support roller installed under the fixed driving pulley, and a tension roller located above the movable drive pulley. Shaft supports of moving pulley, axes of support and tension rollers are movable along corresponding slots made in plates installed on frame and fixed thereon in several positions.

EFFECT: possibility of installation of lower working arm of cutting device in several positions in height relative to upper working branch will make it possible to increase efficiency of operation when harvesting grain crops under specified conditions.
