HYDROLYSIS-RESISTANT POLYETHER FILMS Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC C08L67/02 C08K5/101 B32B27/18 B32B27/36

Abstract RU 2547459 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to polyethyleneterephthalate films, which have increased resistance to hydrolysis. Described is biaxially oriented polyether film, including polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) and at least one hydrolysis stabiliser, selected from glycidyl ether of branched monocarboxylic acid, where hydrolysis stabiliser has formula (I): , where R1 and R2 are independently selected from alkyl, and it is preferable that , at least, one (with only one in one version of implementation) of R1 and R2 is selected from methyl; R3 is selected from hydrogen and alkyl, and preferably from alkyl; and where the total quantity of carbon atoms in alkyl groups R1, R2 and R3 constitutes from 3 to 13; and where said hydrolysis stabiliser is present in film in form of product of its interaction with, at least, any of terminal groups of said polyether. Also described is application of said film as a layer in photovoltaic cell, with said photovoltaic cell containing front panel, electrode layer(s), photoactive layer and back panel, in particular characterised by the fact that said back panel contains said polyether film. Described is photovoltaic cell, consisting of front panel, electrode layer(s), photoactive layer and back panel, in which front panel and/or back panel consists of said film Method of obtaining said film is also described.

EFFECT: obtaining biaxially oriented polyethyleneterephthalate hydrolysis-resistant film, without release of toxic by-products, without increase of film rupture probability.
