FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a composition of a master batch, a method of obtaining the master batch composition, a method of obtaining a powder covering composition, the powder covering composition, obtained by the said method, as well as application of the master batch composition for the powder covering composition or for increasing opacity of the hardened powder covering. The master batch composition contains, at least, 50 wt % of titanium dioxide particles and, at least, 10 wt % of a component (b1) or (b2), or (b3), which contains, at least, one epoxy resin. The component (b1) contains epoxy resin, which has, at least, one carbon-carbon double and/or triple bond, which are not terminal. The component (b2) contains a mixture of, at least, one epoxy resin without carbon-carbon double and triple bond and, at least, one unsaturated organic compound, which has one carbon-carbon double or triple bond, which is not terminal. The component (b3) represents any mixture of (b1) and (b2).
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain the powder covering with a reduced film thickness, which possesses higher opacity.
