FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention is intended for preparation of surface and application of symbols by ink on plastic articles, primarily of polyolefines, for example, polyethylene, polypropylene and further processing of marking. Proposed process comprises conveying the parts to marking point, surface processing by gar torch flame for 0.2-1.0 s and application of marking ink and its drying. Part conveying rate and marking device operation are timed. Marking ink is dried in air during conveying from marking application to intake device. Device for marking comprises gas torch for singeing of marking surface, marking device and marking ink drier. Note here that timing pickup is arranged ahead of marking device along parts motion. Said drier is composed of conveyor section extending from marking application to intake device. Proposed device and method allow production of plastic part made of one of materials that follow. Polyethylene, PEFT, HDPE and HDPP that feature adhesion of ink to part surface over 7 units (as per standard No. 65440-0916 (08-235-"PCT") registered in USA).
EFFECT: higher accuracy of marking and quality of ink application of plastic surfaces.
