FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: high-jacking is ordinary crime against property. If a car has been stolen, measures are taken to find and identify the car prior to returning it to Owner. Identification of car is usually a hard job as initial markings on car parts are filed off, cut off or removed by some other methods by criminals, and new markings are applied instead. To facilitate identification it is proposed to convert series of figures of identification it is proposed to convert series of figures of identification number into code applied additionally to most important parts of car in predetermined places and to make a check plate with this code to be used in identification of car.
