FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: heat accumulator with phase transition material includes case filled with heat accumulating material with phase transition within work temperature range, heat exchange surface, and electric heating element, and features intermediate cover and solar radiation receiver; heat exchange surface consists of vertical tubes distributed through the whole volume of accumulator tank and filled with phase transition material, and electric heating element housings installed in vertical tubes; heat carrier passes in the intertubular space upwards, and empty cavity serving as chamber for phase transition material expansion from vertical tubes is positioned on top, above intermediate and sealed cover, while accumulator tank bottom is comprised by solar radiation receiver.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of heat accumulation and exchange with system heat carrier due to increase and regular distribution of heat exchange surface through the whole volume of accumulator tank.
