FIELD: accumulation of phase transition heat in heat accumulators for heating living spaces. SUBSTANCE: heat-accumulating element is made in form of unit with passages; element is made from composite material containing heat-resistant ceramic as base where granules of hypereutectic alloy on base of aluminium with silicon are distributed. Composite material is made on base of magnesium alloy with 12.5 to 25.0 mas.% of silicon at volume content of granules up to 30-70 vol.% Proposed heat-accumulating element is used as base for heat accumulator and is secured inside monolithic high-porous concrete block; concrete is made on base of material selected from mullite, chamotte, pearlite and vermiculite group. Assembly consisting of one or several monolithic blocks is heat insulated in metal container having double walls; inter-wall space of containers is filled with highly-effective heat insulation. This space may be also used for forming passages of natural and forced convection of heat-transfer agent. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 1 dwg
