FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: smoke cartridge comprises a sleeve with electric igniter and functional equipment. The functional equipment is made in the form of channel pyrotechnic sticks mounted longitudinally under the free volume of the sleeve, limited by the diaphragm with a calibrated outlet providing a degree of orificing of the burning surface in the range of 5-50. The diaphragm is mounted above the free volume of the sleeve, forming the receiver. The electric igniter is placed in the damping chamber formed under the functional equipment, the channel pyrotechnic sticks of which at both ends are equipped with igniter layers and located with the secured clearance between them. The volume of the receiver is 0.3-0.5 volume of the functional equipment.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of the cartridge.
