FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: swirler for fuel and air mixing installed in a combustion chamber of a gas turbine engine comprises a variety of blades set radially around the central axis of the swirler, a variety of mixing channels for fuel and air mixing. At least one mixing channel from the variety of mixing channels is formed by opposite walls of two adjacent blades from the variety of blades and comprises at least one hole for fuel injection and at least one recess for air swirl formation. At least one recess is located in at least one mixing channel before the fuel injection hole in respect to the air flow direction to provide for individual turbulence for the respective mixing channel.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improved mixing of fuel and air in the swirling zone due to the provision for homogeneous air-fuel mixture at all possible loads on a gas turbine.
