FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: electric wire or cable includes multicore conductive copper wire with core section of 1.0÷50 mm2 and rubber sheath of 0.4÷7.0 mm thickness made of composite material based on rubber mix containing mix of high-molecular dimethyl vinylsiloxane and dimethylsiloxane resin as polymer matrix, possibly together with stearic acid, fire protection filler, dehydrating agent, aerosol, quartz, antistructuring agent α,ω-dihydroxymethylsiloxane, organic peroxide, organic silicon fluid as hydrophobiser. Composite material is applied by extrusion and undergoes single-stage curing at 132-200°C.
EFFECT: electric wire obtained shows resistance to oil, ozone, sun radiation and mould, low smoke emission, wide operation temperature range.
