SUBSTANCE: single-board element for forming a colour image includes colour filters in a predefined array of colour filters arranged on a plurality of pixels formed by photoelectric conversion elements arranged horizontally and vertically. The colour filter array of the colour image forming element includes a predefined array basic pattern (P), which includes filters G corresponding to the green colour (G), which has the highest contribution in obtaining brightness signals, and filters R and B corresponding to the red (R) and blue (B) colour, different from G. The array basic pattern P is alternately arranged horizontally and vertically. The filters G are arranged in each line in horizontal, vertical and inclined (NE, NW) directions of the colour filter array, and filters R and B are arranged in each line in horizontal and vertical directions of the colour filter array. The proportion of the number of pixels G corresponding to filters G is greater than the proportion of the number of each of the pixels R and B corresponding to filters R and B.
EFFECT: providing a colour image forming element which can suppress false colour generation and increase resolution.
