FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: furnace charge includes corundum mix of coarse and fine aluminium oxide and alumocalcium mix from calcium mono - and di-aluminate in the ratio, wt %: corundum mix - 55-85, alumocalcium mix - 15-45. The weight ratios of coarse and fine oxide of aluminium in mix are ranging from 99:1 to 10:1, and the weight ratios of calcium mono- and a di-aluminate in the mix are ranging from 1:4 to 1:5. Protective oxidic material is formed by the named furnace charge and water. The result of the invention is obtained by new phase and disperse composition of furnace charge and protective oxidic material, and also by selection of optimum ratios of components of furnace charge. The amount of water in oxidic material is lowered in comparison with a prototype (5.5-8.0% against 18%), and temperature of melting is increased.

EFFECT: use of furnace charge and material for protection of bottom and walls of the trap will provide its high reliability, efficiency, explosion safety that increases safety of nuclear reactor in general.
