FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to method of obtaining hydrated nitrile rubber. Method includes reaction of nitrile rubber in presence of hydrogen, optionally at least one coolefin and in presence of at least one compound of general formula . Values of radicals are the following: M stands for ruthenium or osmium; Y stands for oxygen (O), sulphur (S), radical N-R1 or radical P-R1, where R1 is such as determined below; X1 and X2 stand for similar or different ligands; R1 stands for alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, aryl, alcoxy, alkenyloxy, alkinyloxy, aryloxy, alcoxycarbonyl, alkylamine, alkylthioyl, aryltioyl, alkylsulphonyl, CR13C(O)R14 or aplylsulphinyl radical, each of which can be optionally substituted with one or greater quantity of alkyl, halogenide, alcoxy, aryl or heteroaryl radicals; R13 stands for hydrogen or alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, aryl, alcoxy, alkenyloxy, alkinyloxy, aryloxy, alcoxycarbonyl, alkylamine, alkylthioyl, aryltioyl, alkylsulphonyl or alkylsulphinyl radical, each of which can be optionally substituted with one or greater quantity of alkyl, halogenide, alcoxy, aryl or heteroaryl radicals R14 stands for alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, aryl, alcoxy, alkenyloxy, alkinyloxy, aryloxy, alcoxycarbonyl, alkylamine, alkylthioyl, aryltioyl, alkylsulphonyl or alkylsulphonyl radical, each of which can be optionally substituted with one or greater quantity of alkyl, halogenide, alkoxy, aryl or heteroaryl radicals; R2, R3, R4 and R5 are similar or different and each stands for hydrogen, organic or inorganic radicals; R6 stands for hydrogen or alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl or arylradical and L stands for ligand. Nitrile rubber is simultaneously subjected to metathesis reaction and hydration reaction. Also claimed is application of compound of general formula (I) in method of obtaining hydrated nitrile rubber.
EFFECT: compound of general formula (I) makes it possible to obtain hydrated nitrile rubber, possessing lower molecular weights and more narrow molecular weight distributions.
