SUBSTANCE: cold ramming paste contains electrocalcinated anthracite, a plasticising agent and a liquid carbon binding agent including coal-tar pitch, absorption oil and lithium carbonate as a modifying additive.
EFFECT: improving operating properties and resistance of a cathode device, increasing the service life of an electrolysis unit and its productivity and improving the grade of the obtained aluminium at the reduction of specific consumption of electric power due to the reduction of electric resistance in an inter-unit space of a cathode lining.
