FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: gate is aimed at leak-free shutoff of a vessel cavity. The gate comprises a casing with a shutoff unit installed in it, the casing is made as a cylinder with a flange having fastening holes. The outer mounting cylindrical surface of the casing is fitted by annular grooves where sealing elements are set, a stepped hole is made along the casing axis and has mounting surfaces, threaded surface and surface with longitudinal groove for a dowel, the shutoff unit is a bush made as a cup with a shank end and a flange in which there are through longitudinal grooves and the dowel installed in the flange slot, the outer cylindrical surface of the bush is fitted by slots coming to the end face surface and annular grooves in which sealing elements are set, the outer cylindrical surface of the shank end is fitted by a hole for a pin, a dead threaded hole is made along the bush axis and a screw with crossing longitudinal and transverse holes is screwed into the latter hole, perforated washers are installed on the side of the threaded screw end, and on the side of the screw head there installed is a perforated insert fixed in the casing by the pin and the nuts, a stem is pivotally mounted on the bush shank end at the pin.

EFFECT: reliable shutoff of a vessel channel.
