FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: package for marinating a food product comprises a lower film with the first and second compartments separated by a partition. The first compartment is designed for the placement of the food product and the second compartment - for the placement of a pouch for a food additive, containing at least one tearing seal that is able to be torn under pressure and which overlaps the partition. The upper film has edges hermetically connected along the perimeter to the lower film and at least a part of the partition of the lower film in the area overlapping the tearing seal for the separation of the first and second compartment. After tearing the tearing seal, the pouch and the first compartment form a channel for fluid movement, allowing the food additive to mix with the food product. The tearing seal has the lower burst pressure than the seal along the outer perimeter and the seal along the inner perimeter.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides the ability for the food product to marinate directly in the package, without exposing the product to the environment and preserving its eating qualities during storage.
