FIELD: containers.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to containers and methods for use thereof. More specifically, the invention relates to mechanisms for packaging and opening containers for tobacco products. The container intended for storing the product comprises a body with a bottom wall and a side wall. The bottom wall and the side wall form an internal storage compartment configured to accommodate the product. The side wall has an outer peripheral surface. The cover is configured to interact detachably with the body. The cover comprises an upper wall and a peripheral rim with an inner surface. The inner surface is configured to interact with the base when the cover is placed on top of the outer peripheral surface of the side wall forming an interface. The label is configured to essentially cover the interface, wherein the label comprises a tear-up thread located between the outer surface of the container and the back surface of the label, and is located essentially at the interface of the cover and the body.

EFFECT: provided protection from opening due to the indication of the fact that the container could have been opened and/or otherwise altered.
