SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to radiation oncology in general, in particular disclosing a method for correct and exactly reproducible positioning of a breast cancer patient for a radiation therapy session. The invention represents a bra with adjustable elements and a medial window. In the process of preparation for radiation therapy, the above elements are adjusted so that to ensure reference positioning of the breast. Whenever required, the preset reference position of the breast is reproduced before each actual irradiation session by way of exact repetition of the initial adjustment of the elements. The medial window allows to project the irradiation field onto the patient's breast as take readings guaranteeing correct positioning of the patient in front of the radiation therapy apparatus.

EFFECT: invention allows to ensure exact positioning of the patient's breast in front of the radiation therapy apparatus in accordance with the treatment plan allowing to remove the breast part unsubject to radiation outside the irradiation field.
