FIELD: medical equipment, particularly, bandages and jackets of vertebral column lumbar part. SUBSTANCE: lumbar belt includes back from elastic material accommodating inserts, two flanges with fasteners at their ends connected with external surface of back. All fasteners of belt are made of velcro textile pipe cloth. Loop members of fastener on external surface of ends of both flanges from nonstretchable cloth have narrow strip of elongation in direction of back for at least 2/3 of flange length. EFFECT: higher prophylactic, therapeutic and rehabilitation effect of belt on tissues of lumbar part and organism, extended potentialities of its application, simple application and storage, and reduced cost price of its manufacture. 5 cl, 4 dwg
