FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of conversion of vertical take-off and landing aircraft with a wing (3) and the lifting propeller consisting of a disk (1) from which during take off and landing blades of the lifting propeller (6) are released consists in that the plane wing (3) is mounted according to the high-wing monoplane configuration, in its centre wing section (2) a disk (1) is placed the top part of which during take-off or landing is released from the centre wing section (2) into air flow, the disk (1) is brought to rotation and is converted into the lifting propeller, releasing blades (6) from it. During cruising flight the blades (6) are taken away into the disk (1), the disk (1) rotation is stopped and its top part is taken away into the centre wing section (2) which form with it common, well streamlined surface.
EFFECT: increase in speed, flying range and decrease of fuel consumption.
