FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering and can be used for persistent tele- and radio communication with areas on Earth located outside the visibility zone of one satellite using a communication system consisting of two unified geostationary satellites. Slave satellites are fitted with radio navigation equipment and a navigation and motion control system; inter-satellite communication is augmented with two-way maintenance links; the slave satellites are located in the visibility zones of addressed ground communication stations which are inaccessible for the master satellite; control of the slave satellites and monitoring of the technical state thereof is carried out through the master satellite which is constantly located in the visibility zone of at least one ground command and tracking station and a ground communication station - antipodes of the addressed ground communication stations.
EFFECT: creating a space communication system with geographic antipode members, located in different arbitrary hemispheres from each other.
