FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mineral processing and can be used in technology of preparation of rare metal ores. The method of flotation of potassium-containing micas from tailings of gravity preparation of rare metal ores comprises desliming of the feed pulp, conditioning with calcinated soda and a cation collector and mica flotation. Before the cationic collector together with calcinated soda the water ammonia solution at the ratio of ammonia, calcinated soda and cation collector from 25:500:200 to 40:500:200 is added to conditioning. The main flotation concentrate does not require recleaning.
EFFECT: improvement of quality of mica concentrates.
