SUBSTANCE: device includes a solid-state light source with a fluorescent layer, a polarisation conversion element and a reflector placed between the device with a light source and the polarisation conversion element. The reflector transmits light in the vicinity of the optical axis of the device with a light source and reflects peripheral light away from the optical axis of the device with a light source to the fluorescent layer.
EFFECT: high efficiency of using light and providing large-aperture polarised light.
