SUBSTANCE: device for monocular measurement of interpupillary distance contains measuring ruler with laser graduation of strokes in millimetres with zero starting point to the left and to the right of the middle of nose bridge is provided with movable frames with vertical rods and is fixed on rim by means of clamps, frames are made with possibility of moving to rightward and leftward on ruler, with vertical rods having the possibility to move up and down. In the process of measuring interpupillary distance, measurement of longitudinal size of palpebral fissure in direct look into distance is performed, pupil centre must be at equal distance from external and internal angles of palpebral fissure.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement.
