FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of artificial satellites, primarily CubeSat picosatellites (10×10×10 cm), which can be used to control the process of separation and the state of space objects. A picosatellite has a cubic housing and is fitted with antennae, solar and storage batteries. Electronic printed-circuit boards are mounted inside the housing. The housing is made of polyetheretherketone with carbon nanotubes (TECAPEEK ELS nano, density 1.44 g/cm3). All faces of the housing, including under the solar battery, there are protective plates made of polyimide-based plastic with molybdenum disulphide filler. The plates provide electrical and thermal decoupling (in the temperature range of -270°C to +300°C) of the solar battery and the housing. Said design of the housing gives the housing the required robustness and current-conducting properties (owing to the nanotubes), high radiation protection (without secondary radiation) and other useful properties. Different faces of the housing are fitted with video camera lenses (at least five).
EFFECT: longer service life of the picosatellite.
