FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire couplings and increases comfortable use. The metal casing strip for the fire coupling intended for installation around the conductor pipe has several serial tabs and cut-outs in the strip longitudinal direction. Tabs and cut-outs are arranged alternatively. The tabs can be unbend from the casing strip surface such that during use, when the casing strip is located around the pipe with coverage of two end zones, the bent outside tab of one end zone enters the cut-out of the another one covering the end zone and is bent over the cut-out edge to keep the casing strip in form of the closed couple.
EFFECT: improved design.
