SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, is intended for usage during tooth brushing and characterises an electric toothbrush with an electromagnetic power drive (versions). The toothbrush contains a handle, a head unit including a brush head element with bristles projecting from it, the head unit power drive, at least one spool mounted on the bottom element between the two curved sections, a power supply for supplying energy to the spool with the help of an AC signal, at least three permanent magnet units and roller elements The roller unit power drive contains a bottom element having curved sections separated by a gap along its length and a top section positioned at a distance from the bottom one and having curved sections separated by a gap along its length, the latter sections aligned relative to those of the bottom element. The three permanent magnet units are positioned with their curved sections on the top element with serial permanent magnet units positioned with alternating opposite surfaces. The roller elements, retained between the curved sections of the top and the bottom elements, where the spool and the permanent magnet units are positioned so that application of an AC signal to the working spool causes reciprocating movement of the top element and the head unit to carry out tooth cleaning. The group of inventions includes a second version of the electric toothbrush with an electromagnetic power drive.

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the size and weight of regular electric toothbrushes approximating them to those of a traditional toothbrush.
