SUBSTANCE: toothbrush has elongated casing including head provided with bristle carrier and located at one end of casing, and handle including driving means with drive shaft and located at other end of casing. Head has receptacle equipped with curved lateral sides and adapted for receiving of bristle carrier. Plurality of bristles are protruding from carrier upper surface, said carrier being provided with curved lateral sides conforming with curved lateral sides of receptacle. Bristle carrier has opening in its lateral side, which faces handle. End of drive shaft is offset from its central longitudinal axis and is drivingly engaged with opening provided in bristle carrier. Rotation of shaft enables bristle carrier to perform two types of motions for effectuating spatial reciprocating motions in receptacle.

EFFECT: improved quality of teeth cleaning.
