SUBSTANCE: inventions can be used for connection of conductive metal elements. The stage of preliminary sliding movement of pair of connected elements with reference to each other without resistive heating is performed. At the connection stage the resistive heating is performed by means of passing of current through the pair of connected elements during their sliding movement with reference to each other. The sliding movement of the connected elements is performed by means of reciprocating or epicyclic movement. The amount of heat generated by resistive heating is adjusted. At the connection stage the contact resistance of the connected elements or friction force between them is detected.
EFFECT: inventions provide uniform connection of surfaces along the whole contact area.
