FIELD: electrolytic methods.

SUBSTANCE: solid and dry granulated mixture and liquid bituminous binding agent are mixed in amount required for production of electrodes (6). Coarse fraction (1a, 2a) of the granulated mixture includes aggregates, and the other fraction contains submillimeter fine particles (1b, 2b). At the first mixing step (102a), the aggregates are pre-impregnated with the bitumen binding agent portion (3a) in an amount sufficient to coat the aggregates and partially fill the space of their open pores. At the second coating step, the mix obtained at the first stage is mixed with residue (3b) of the bituminous binding agent required for production of electrodes (6) and with fine particles (2b) fraction of the said granulated mixture. Device for method implementation includes two stages of mixer operating in continuous or intermittent mode, each of which performs one of mixing stages.

EFFECT: invention can be used in making electrodes for electrolytic processes.
