SUBSTANCE: element substrate of the liquid ejection head includes: a base material; an insulating film, a resistive heating element for generating thermal energy for ejecting liquid; a protective film for coating the resistive heating element; a first layer of electric conductors placed in the insulating film to supply current to the resistive heating element; a second layer of electrical conductors placed on a layer that is different from the first layer of electrical conductors in the insulating film to supply current to the resistive heating element; at least one connecting element passing into the insulating film for connecting the first layer of electric conductors and resistive heating element in order to cause current flow in the first direction, the resistive heating element including a junction zone passing in the second direction crossing the first direction to which at least one connecting element is connected.
EFFECT: increased liquid delivery rate at equal energy consumption.
