FIELD: physics, acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to acoustics. The first subject of the invention is a headrest of a vehicle seat or a speaker box attached to a vehicle seat or to a headrest. The headrest comprises a first speaker and a second speaker built into the headrest or the speaker box. Both speakers have a main sound propagation direction, wherein each speaker is fixed in the headrest or in the speaker box such that the main sound propagation directions are inclined with respect to the main direction of the backrest of the vehicle seat. Both speakers are arranged with a depression in the headrest or in the speaker box with respect to a sound outlet opening, such that during operation sound waves propagating from the first and second speakers mix in a chamber formed in the headrest or in the speaker box. The second subject of the invention is a vehicle having a seat with a headrest. The vehicle further comprises a special sound wave reflector placed over the headrest of the vehicle seat or over the speaker box on the roof of the vehicle. The sound wave reflector is configured to reflect sound waves with reduced loss of sound waves compared to the roof of the vehicle.
EFFECT: generating diffused sound in a vehicle cabin.
